Graduate students must submit their pre-defense manuscript through the ProQuest ETD Administrator at least two weeks prior to their scheduled defense date or by the official pre-defense deadline.
The submitted manuscript must be at least 90% complete and fully formatted according to the latest version of The Graduate School?s guidelines. Incomplete, unformatted, or improperly submitted manuscripts will not be reviewed or counted toward the initial deadline.
To avoid delays, submit early and ensure you?ve created an account in the Manuscript Clearance Portal, where you must also submit your Defense Announcement Form by the same deadline.
