The graduate application at FSU is a 2-step process.
Step 1: Submit the Online Application
Complete and submit your graduate application through the FSU Admissions portal. Once submitted, you?ll receive an email with login information for your Application Status Page.
Step 2: Upload Materials & Request Recommendations
After accessing your Application Status Page:
Uploading Materials
Upload required application documents (e.g., statement of purpose, resume, writing samples, etc.).
Note: Requirements may vary by department Your personalized checklist will update within one business day after submitting your application.
For questions about specific documents, contact your department directly and check the status page often for updates.
Requesting Recommendation Letters
Click the "recommenders" link on your Application Status page.
Enter the name and email address of each recommender.
Each recommenders will receive an email from FSU with instructions for uploading their letters directly to your application.
